The driver program is user-friendly, but also unnecessary as the driver is more than sufficient. The option was also given to download the drivers online and finally there was the option to install only the driver (without driver programs). Installation via the supplied CD was very easy. I was not familiar with the brand, but I did enjoy an image with an eye on quality. The relatively cheap price compared to similar peripherals also appealed to me. In general, USB network adapters received better reviews than built-in wireless network cards, and the NETGEAR WNDA3100 USB adapter received better reviews than others. The reason for purchase was the following: I had purchased a desktop PC, but unfortunately did not have the option to run an Ethernet cable from the router to my PC, which is located on a different floor. I bought the NETGEAR WNDA3100 a month and a half ago, which gave me plenty of time to test it out.
